How far in advance should I book a session?
The earlier you book the better! I fill up very quickly during summer months and holidays.

What happens if it rains?
We will try to reschedule the date but if we cannot find another time that works for both of us you will get your deposit back. I usually try to leave a day or two open during the week for rescheduling. The forecast changes here quickly, don’t stress too much if you see it is going to rain. Summer showers are common and I can usually meet clients a little earlier if I needed. It also helps to try to schedule the session earlier in your stay so it gives us a little more time to reschedule.

Payment
There is a $200 deposit to hold the date, I will send an invoice to your email upon booking. A week before the session I will touch base with you again to get more details from you and send you the remaining balance.

What should I bring?
If you have children I always recommend bringing them water and a snack of some sort. Goldfish or another snack that doesn’t get them dirty or turn their months colors work great. I also bring smarties just in case we need to do a little bribing during the session! Also, if you would like to get into the water at the end of the session bring a change of clothes! I love when families do this!

What should I wear?
What you decide to wear makes a big difference in the outcome of pictures. I will send a Style Guide to. You when you book the session to help with outfits choices. You can always email or text me ideas and I am happy to give my opinions!

What time of day do you shoot?
I only shoot on the beach at sunrise or sunset. All other times are just too bright for your pictures to turn out the way you want them. If that time doesn’t work for your little ones I suggest doing and “in town” session in Rosemary we can find nice shaded spots there mid mornings or mid afternoon.

When will my photos be ready and how will I get them?
They will be ready in 2-3 weeks. You will receive your photos via an online gallery. You own the rights to your photos and can print them as you wish. I recommend printing directly from the online gallery from my professional lab, the quality of the photos is wonderful!

Can I order other products from you?
YES! I can’t recommend ordering from your gallery enough, the quality of the lab is wonderful! There are so many different products you can order from your gallery. My favorite are the albums!

Where do we shoot our session?
There a many options. I can meet you at the closest walkover to where you are staying if you’d like to keep in simple. Some areas can get very crowded especially in the summer months. If there are 5 people or less in your party I have access to a private beach club. We can also meet at Grayton Beach State Park. If you are staying on property with access to Alys, Watercolor, Seaside, Watersound or Rosemary I usually suggest just meeting there, and if you’d like we can take some in the town before walking down to the beach.

Can we get in the water at the end of the session?
YES!! I love it when families decide to get into the water. I would just bring a change of clothes and a towel. There are usually restrooms at at the locations that we shoot which make it easy!

Randi is the BEST! We are expecting our first child, and I wanted to schedule a photo session with our whole family while we were in Seaside this year.
